Black Crane Festival observed on 11th November, every year on occassion of Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck is an eco-tourism initiative to promote the sustainable livelihood of the local community. Apart from the festival, you will actually get to see the rare and endangered Black-necked crane species which are known to spend their winter months in Bhutan. The program also includes several short treks in other areas also.

Tour Costs (For minimum 3 individuals)

2. Group of 2 person – US$ 30/person/night

Tour Costs Inclusion

• Twin share/double in Bhutanese 3-star hotel accommodation (4/5 star entails extra charge).
• All meals, tea, snacks and bottled water
• A licensed professional tour guide
• All internal transport (excluding internal flights)
• Camping equipment and haulage for trekking tours
• All entrance fees and visa fees (USD40/-)
• A Sustainable Development Fee (SDF of USD 65 per person per night included within the costs except for Eastern Bhutan).

On the day of departure, the local agents shall be limited to providing breakfast only and any extra requirements shall be payable on usage basis.

• Wire transfer fee for transferring tour payment from your bank to Bhutan

Day 03 (10 Nov, 2019): Punakha to Phobjikha 
Day 04 (11 Nov, 2019): Attend the Black Necked Crane Festival hosted by local community. 
Day 05 (12 Nov, 2019): Phobjikha to Paro 
Day 06 (13 Nov, 2019): Sight seeing in Paro and visit to Taktshang monastery.
